The International Criminal Court (ICC) is the only permanent international court capable of trying individuals accused of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity when there is no other recourse for justice.

For too long in the United States, the ICC has been viewed as a “kangaroo court” out to get American soldiers.

It’s time for the United States to see the ICC in its true purpose and mandate, as an international criminal court “established to help end impunity for the perpetrators of the most serious crimes of concern to the international community.” The following presentation introduces you to the people that have already been indicted by the ICC and the heinous crimes of which they have been accused.

Warning the module contains some graphic descriptions of crimes currently being pursued by the ICC.
